Welcome to my site!
From September 2004 thru August 2005 while teaching in Poland, I decided to take one photo a day, everyday. The photos ranged from exciting trips to Florence and Istanbul to the daily minutia of cooking or walking to the bus station. These photos not only became my journal, but a reminder that there are opportunities to see the extraordinary in the commonplace of each day.

That journal is the motivation for my blog. Here you will find photos of opportunities to appreciate daily life, even if it's just driving or shopping. I'll post the photos weekly and I hope that you visit often.
